Lilian von Haussen


Recoder player, composer, performer.  Lillian studied early music in Bremen with Han Tol, concert exams with Kees Boeke in Trossingen and movement theatre at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri (Tessin/Switzerland)

She has worked in the areas of composition, middle-ages and renaissance music, free improvisation, performance and electronic music as well as film, theatre, dance and free art. 

She plays and has played in the following ensembles: “fünf”, traurige tiere, Rinke and the GERMAN ANGST and GROSSNORDISCHE FREUNDSCHAFT (free improvisation), x-pol-batterie, Too Much Too Soon Orchestra (New Music) and VUENV as well as UtReMi (recorder ensembles).

Lillian is a member of the group “der Reihe elektronische Musik – REM“, the projectgroup new music.  She has taught, among others, at the Music Universities of Bremen, Vienna, Graz, Trossingen and Piteå (Sweden), as well as at the Forum for New Music and Intermedia Art Fylkingen (Stockholm)
