Siegrun Geister
Born in Graz (A)
Studied instrumental pedagogy (Recorder) at the University for Music and Performing Arts, Graz (Prof. Robert Unger and Prof. Robert Finster). She received her teaching qualification in 1992 and her Master’s degree in 1997.
She has participated in numerous mastercourses in Austria and abroad (Han Tol, Manfredo Zimmermann, Kees Boeke, Helge Stiegler, Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet, Ulrich Thieme).
Siegrun has worked with various ensembles for early-music, including Quadrifoglio Concertante and Barockensemble P.O.S. She has also worked with composers of the „steirischer Tonkünstlerbund“ and teaches at the National Education Institute for kindergardenpedagogy in Hartberg.
