







Born in Lörrach (D). Studied recorder with special emphasis on early music with Han Tol at the University for the Arts in Bremen (D) and, as Erasmus student, with Frédéric de Roos at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (B). In January 2008 she received her diploma, and since then has undertaken extra studies in Instrumental pedagogy in the principle subjects of Recorder and Dulcian. Since September 2009 she has studied in Basel (CH) and Lyon (F). Silke has participated in various international mastercourses, including with Robert Ehrlich, Maurice van Lieshout, Dan Laurin and Maurice Steger. In 2005 she received the scholarship of the Bach academy of Stuttgart and in 2007 was a member of the European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO). In February 2009 she won 1st prize in the University competition of the University for the Arts, Bremen, in the solo wind instrument category.
She has worked on several CD productions at the invitation of early music ensembles such as Weserrenaissance and Alba Novella and has appeared in concerts in Germany, Sweden, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy and Cyprus.
